Jewish Law Students Association

It is our mission to respect, incorporate and promote the ideals, heritage, culture, and learning of the Jewish people and religion into a meaningful and fulfilling forum for law students at the University of Memphis-Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Fully recognizing the Jewish tradition of learning, we aim to better ourselves and society through rigorous study and application of the Law.

Activities include:

• Monthly luncheons with prominent local Jewish attorneys.

• Assistance and information regarding religious holiday observance.

• Academic guidance and assistance

• Social events with other Jewish students in the Memphis area (Southern College of Optometry, University of Tennessee School of Medicine, etc...)

The National Jewish Law Students Association fosters a Jewish identity in legal professionals and students and provides for their active involvement in the Jewish Community.
