Best Bang for the Buck

The University of Memphis School of Law is an "excellent value" according to an article by Christine Willard, "Best Schools for Your Money," on pages 18-23 of the February 2004 issue of The National Jurist.  They used six factors for calculating value, using statistics from the ABA-LSAC 2004 Official Guide to ABA Approved Law Schools.  The comparison gave a 30% weight each to tuition and bar pass rates and 10% each to unemployment rates, median grants awarded, clinic slots available and faculty-student ratio.
