 The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law held the Alumni Board Inaugural Dinner on Friday, August 20, 2004. Alumni and friends of the law school who have played a significant role in the Law School's history were honored. Honorees included Richard Collins, scholarship recipient, Kevin Smith, teaching excellence award recipient, and Dean Donald J. Polden, portrait unveiling. A pre and post Brown v. Board of Education dialogue took place between Dean Polden and Oliver Hill, the oldest living member of the legal team that successfully argued Brown v. Board before the U.S. Supreme Court. Thank you to Mr. Hill for participating in this special evening.
