ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition--Regional Champions

Please congratulate Jennifer Bellott and Michael Goodin on their stellar performance in the ABA     National Appellate Advocacy Competition.  They swept through the New York regional competition  undefeated (beating St. John’s, New York Law School, Temple, Miami and SUNY-Buffalo) and        earned a spot in the National Finals in Chicago. Jennifer Bellott was also named second best oralist in the region. 

Over 30 teams competed in the regional competition.  The top four teams from each of six regions meet in Chicago in early April.  Approximately 180 teams entered the competition.  Joining Memphis as the representatives from New York are Brooklyn, Harvard, and Seton Hall.
