Welcome to the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Library

Located at 3715 Central Ave in Memphis TN,  the Law Library offers students, faculty, and the public a collection of over 250,000 volumes of books and microforms including statutes, court reports, digests, encyclopedias, treatises, loose-leaf services, periodicals, and government documents.  In addition to the Law Library, law students have access to the McWherter Library, which is the general library on the University of Memphis campus, and to its various departmental branches.

• The law library is part of an online card catalog system known as TomCat.  The catalog is accessible via the Internet through both the web and telnet.  It is a shared catalog with all of the University of Memphis Libraries.  If you select the web version, you may limit your search by location (click in the lower left corner) and choose Law School Library at U of M.  You may search by author, title, subject, or keyword.
