For a brief video on how to get set up click here.

The first step to getting your laptop to print wirelessly is to open Internet Explorer and go to http://iprint.memphis.edu.

Once the site has loaded click on the support button on the right.

On the support page instructions are provided for various operating systems.

In order to install the iPrint client Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later is required.  The scripts do not work properly with either Netscape or Firefox.

The second step is to download and install the iPrint client. This is a silent install and other than clicking run no action is required.

Once the iPrint client is installed the third step is to install a printer. Currently there are only 5 printers on campus that are supported by iPrint. Simply click on install.  You will prompted to confirm the installation. Once confirmed the iPrint client displays a status window that shows the install process. A notification window will appear stating that the installation was successful. After the printer is installed return to the previous page by clicking the back button.

The fourth step is used to verify that the printer was installed successfully.

The final step is to submit a print job.

Select the printer manually by clicking file, then print, then selecting the printer and then clicking print.

After a print job is submitted it must be released. It is released by returning to iprint.memphis.edu and logging in. You may want to bookmark this page as this is where you need to come in order to release your print jobs. You login using your UUID and TigerLan Password. Once logged in you can see the documents in your que, the printers that the documents will be printed to, the number of pages to be printed and the cost of those pages. You can also see your account balance.  To print a submitted job select it and click print. Once set up the iPrint client can be printed to at any time.
