Achievements/Publications: This Is the Trap the Courts Built:  Dealing with the Entanglement of Religion and the Origin of Life in American Public Schools, 37 Sw. U. L. Rev.  (forthcoming, Fall 2007). 

Professor McCreary traveled to Kenya, Africa in March 2007 where she presented The Lawyering Skill of Organization as Taught through Legal Writing Programs at the Conference on the Pedagogy of Legal Writing for Legal Academics in Africa.  She has been invited to return to Africa in December 2007 to train lawyers for the International Law Institute in Uganda.  Based on her travels to Kenya and work there with legal academics, Professor McCreary presented A Safari into Legal Education in Africa—and Beyond in April 2007 at the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law Faculty Colloquium Series.    

Professor McCreary’s other upcoming presentations include speaking about the use—and prohibiting the use—of laptops in law school classrooms at the annual meeting for the American Association of Law Schools in New York, New York in January 2008 and at a conference at the Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University in September 2007.  Further, Professor McCreary will present “Teaching Time-Management Skills to 1Ls” at the “Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn” conference at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in October 2007.
