SUBSTANTIVE COVERAGE AND OBJECTIVES OF COURSE:
Introduction to the history of American constitutional and private law, the origins and applications of legal theories and processes, and the development of the system of case law analysis. An analysis of how throughout periods of history the courts, legislatures, and administrative agencies have led to the development of current American law and American society in the American republic. The role of American lawyers and law schools in the development of the American legal system.
