SUBSTANTIVE COVERAGE AND OBJECTIVES OF COURSE:
Jurisdiction, compliance with environmental statutes and regulations, and enforcement. The course focuses on the following federal acts: the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA, Superfund), the Toxic Substances Control Act, the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), and the Endangered Species Act.
