SUBSTANTIVE COVERAGE AND OBJECTIVES OF COURSE:

This course introduces students to basic principles of substantive criminal law (under the common law and one model penal code). Topics include: The criminal act, mens rea, homicide, attempt, complicity, conspiracy and defenses.
