SUBSTANTIVE COVERAGE AND OBJECTIVES OF COURSE:
To introduce students to the Tort law and practice discourse community. Students will critically analyze, deconstruct, and reconstruct the lexicon of Tort law and its rhetorical models through the study of the following areas: Land Owner and Land Occupier Liability, Defenses to Negligence, Damages, Joint Tortfeasors, Imputed Negligence, Wrongful Death and Survival, Strict Liability, Products Liability, and Nuisance.

Torts II overlaps with Civil Procedure, Trial Practice, Legal Methods, Property, Remedies, and Products Liability Law.
